Milestones The history of IBL

IBL has been dedicated to soldering processes in the Electronics Industry since 1985. Their range of expertise encompasses consultant engineering, analysis and process development of vapor phase soldering processes and design and development of process machinery. Custom made machines and peripherals have always been a core element of company philosophy.

IBL produces in 1988 its first completely self constructed and developed vapour phase soldering system.

IBL introduces in 1992 after extensive development, the first second generation vapour phase soldering system. For the first time ever this provided different pre-heating variants in addition to the control of the amount of heat transfer.

IBL becomes market and technology leader during the Nineties. Their innovative competence is established with over 30 patents in vapour phase soldering technology.

IBL receives in 1993 a special award by the Bavarian State for its environment-oriented developments.

IBL presents in 1996 the patented Soft Vapour Phase (SVP) technology, which continues to set the standard in vapour phase soldering.

IBL redefines top quality processing in 2001 by introducing the first„In Vapour“ vacuum vapour phase soldering system.
The vacuum process was developed and patented in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute.

IBL combines in 2008 the ‘Double Soft Vapour’ technology with a high performance, high quality, robust and flexible user-friendly in-line system.
